Word from the manager, Sarah Avery
I’ve been living with a picture of a rainbow this year. God put a rainbow in the sky to remind us that He is in charge and will love, care and look after us. It reminds me that when I was young, on the verge of my adult life and the dreams I had for myself and my children I was hoping to have. 20 years on, life hasn't worked out the way I planned it but this year I've been reminded looking at this rainbow that God is faithful to his promises. He loves, cares and looks after us even though my own journey of life has not taken the paths I planned for it. Circumstances mean that our dreams don’t always become reality. This is true for the families we work with at Family Space, no one chooses to see their family end in separation, to get into debt, suffer from poor mental health, illness or be a victim of domestic abuse. As an organisation we exist to show love, compassion and offer hope and a chance to see family circumstances changed for the better. We invite you to journey with us, to love, serve, help and support those in the community who continue to need Family Space and those that this year will come into contact with us for the very first time. I encourage you to get involved in all we do over the coming year. I’d love you to get in touch. - Sarah |
